The conference is a special time for college students to “go up the mountain” and receive a heavenly vision. Jesus often spoke a special word to His disciples on the mountain (Matt. 5:1). The sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ second coming, and the great commission were all revealed on the mountain.
The conference focuses on the central goal of the Bible, which is God and His eternal purpose. Take the opportunity for Jesus to appear and call you directly into His purpose. Like the apostle Paul, he not only saw a vision of God’s purpose, but eventually God’s purpose became his purpose (2 Tim. 3:10).
The conference gives the Lord an occasion to ignite our love and service to Him. Before sending out His disciples, Jesus took time to infuse and transform them with the life and knowledge of God (Matt. 28:16). Out of this, the disciples spontaneously loved and served God in His purpose.
